Gold Medal Awards - Vote Now
We are delighted Ballyvolane House is a finalist of the Gold Medal Awards in the Ireland’s Country House/Guest House Experience category. The winners will be announced on 30th January 2024. In good company too. Fingers crossed. We are honoured to have been nominated as finalists in the following categories:

St. Brigid’s Day Bank Holiday Weekend
Recharge after the festive madness with a stay at Ballyvolane House. It’s the perfect remedy with bracing walks in the glorious countryside (bring your pooch), warming tipples, cosy fires, hearty food and long soaks in deep baths. We are open from Wednesdays to Saturdays throughout the winter months and we look forward to welcoming our guests in 2024.
We have extended our opening times to include Sunday night for all the bank holidays. Also, we have extended our opening dates for the Easter holidays.

Irish Salmon Challenge with Glenda Powell
Or friend and fly-fishing legend Glenda Powell is launching the FISH-LIVE-LEARN with Glenda Powell Irish Salmon Challenge for the coming season. As keen conservationists and anglers ourselves (when time allows), we are delighted to support this event and we have donated a magnum of Sloe Bertha which the winner will receive along with lots of other fabulous prizes.
