Introducing Bertha in a can.

We are delighted to launch two Bertha ready to drink offerings: the Bertha & Tonic and the Bertha Summer Cup.

Attractively packaged, convenient and rather tasty. Great for picnics, parties and festivals … and of course just to have in the fridge at home for a quick thirst quencher.

The Bertha & Tonic has a lovely citrus flavour with a nice hit of gin, while the Summer Cup is the perfect refreshing summer punch to enjoy on a sunny day!

They’ll be in shops soon.

Bertha’s Revenge Gin was awarded a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2022. This is the highest award Ballyvolane House Spirits Company Ltd have received from a truly independent awards judging panel so far. Congratulations to Justin and Antony. Massive thanks to the judges. We are absolutely delighted.

We planted 300 trees in recent weeks at Ballyvolane House. The trees were donated by ‘Trees on the Land’, a charity and not-for-profit project working to establish young native trees across the 32 counties of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

We planted a mix of oak, Scots Pine, alder, birch, hawthorn and apple.

Massive thanks to Trees on the Land and also to the Dream Team of tree-planters, Maia, Oscar, Jamie, Fleur and Dumpling (the terrier).

Red FM’s Jonathan Healy interviews Justin on ‘Red Business in Focus’ in association with Cork’s Local Enterprise Offices. Justin will fill Jonathan in on all the activities at Ballyvolane House from historic house stays to boutique weddings and glamping experiences. Justin will also chat about how he spotted the potential of a business with gins in 2015 and launched Bertha’s Revenge Gin.
